  • Car: Attendees have the option to travel to the Northern Ireland Assembly at Stormont by car. More details on how to get there safely provided here.
  • Public Transport: Public transport is a popular and convenient option for reaching Stormont. Translink, the public transport provider, operates regular bus services that connect various parts of Belfast to Stormont. Trains are also available, with services running to the nearby Holywood train station, from where attendees can take a short bus or taxi ride to reach Stormont. Additionally, Belfast has a tram system called the Glider, which provides a direct route to Stormont.
  • Taxi: Taxis are readily available in Belfast, providing a convenient and efficient mode of transportation for attendees. Taxis can be found at various taxi ranks throughout the city, including popular locations such as train stations, airports, and city centre areas.

James Eyre

Chief Executive, Titanic Quarter

James Eyre BSc (Hons) first joined the Titanic Quarter team in August 2006 and has had held several management and leadership roles within the organisation before being appointed as Chief Executive in January 2024.

James has led numerous developments including construction, occupation, retention or disposal projects across multiple sectors, notably residential, commercial, leisure, hospitality and education.  

James has intimate knowledge of the technical, commercial, planning and financial processes associated with major brownfield regeneration, as undertaken at Titanic Quarter.  During this period, James has worked with a range of local operators and multinational occupiers including Citi, Amazon, Belfast Met, HBO and PRONI. 

James has an experienced team at Titanic Quarter to support him with all aspects of project development, the management of the estate and management of a significant portfolio of commercial and residential investment properties.

John Lacy

Smart Buildings Lead, Siemens

John is the Siemens Smart Buildings Lead for Ireland, with over 25 years’ experience in construction, manufacturing, and energy. Now, focused on making smart buildings real, combining the real and digital worlds, to create sustainable, innovative value for people and business. John joined Siemens industrial division in 2012, helping manufacturing customers in the UK and Ireland optimize energy and reduce costs.

John improves performance in our built environment, using a broad range of options available from Siemens and our ecosystem partners, from IoT sensors to cloud platform solutions, our life-cycle digital twin for buildings and workplace experience software.John holds a BSc in Construction Management from SETU, Post Graduate Diplomas in Project Management and Environmental Engineering from Trinity, and an MSc in Energy Management from TU Dublin. An SEAI Registered Energy Auditor, Certified Measurement and Verification Professional, Certified Energy Manager, while also Agile Master and ITIL Certified.

Charlie Moore

Head of Property Maintenance, Office of Public Works (OPW)

Charlie Moore’s current role involves overseeing a Programme of Maintenance for State owned and leased properties and cultural sites throughout Ireland. The service includes the delivery of regional capital construction works together with advisory roles in Fire Safety and Security, Health and Safety and Furniture provision, for the Irish Civil Service.

Charlie is an architect by profession, with qualifications in project management, conservation and participatory design. Prior to his role in Property Maintenance, he led a multi-disciplinary team on behalf of OPW for the delivery of ‘Brexit’ infrastructure, required in Ports and Airports following the UK’s exit from the European single market. He has over 20 years’ experience in a variety of roles within the construction industry in the UK and Ireland, with particular interests in climate action and sustainability, urban regeneration and conservation.

Howard Wilson

Sales Manager, Siemens

Howard Wilson is an experienced Sales Manager at Siemens, with an impressive 18 years of experience in the Building Energy Management Systems industry. Howard brings a wealth of knowledge from both system integrator and manufacturer perspectives. Over the past 5 years at Siemens, he has successfully developed a robust partner network in Ireland and developed the Desigo solution in the market. His primary focus areas include Life Sciences, Data Centres, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors. Howard excels in providing comprehensive specification and design support, and offering exceptional end-user support. His proven record in driving business growth underscores his strategic acumen and commitment to excellence.
