20 July 2023 8am – 12.30pm Community STEAMhouse

Overview

Join the IWFM Midlands Region for our breakfast briefing to learn about the role facilities managers have to play in making a positive contribution to the sustainability movement, plus networking.

Sustainability has grown over recent years with the pressure on organisations to make positive, demonstrable contributions towards the communities in which they operate, as well as reducing emissions and transitioning to environmentally friendly solutions.

As a result, the remit of the workplace and FM professional has grown as 'retrofit' solutions and driving innovations in the built environment are generally more cost efficient than demolition and construction of new 'green' buildings. But this is still a new string to our FM bow, so how do we implement such innovations and demonstrate the impact to our organisations?

This event, sponsored by Skanska, will help FMs to unpack and understand the art of the possible, how to develop and impact on sustainability targets, with real life case studies, actionable and practical steps, with hints and takeaways, in addition to leveraging technology to demonstrate and drive results.

Coffee and breakfast pastries will be provided.
