The IWFM manufacturing working group will provide a forum for the development and sharing of expertise in the unique area of facilities in the industrial work environment. The forum should include representation from across the UK manufacturing sector, including automotive, aerospace, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, rail, defence, electronics and textile industries to name but a few.
This group has great potential as a source of innovation and best practice, which could also influence the wider facilities management community: manufacturers are often at the forefront of the development and implementation of new technologies that later filter into the wider public domain.
