IWFM does not offer the level 2, 3, 4 and 6 apprenticeships, we provide information about them and where to find them, as outlined below.
75% of employers offer a full-time job upon completion of an apprenticeship. That's 18-24 months of paid work, training and hands-on experience for a lifetime of possibility. Facilities Services Operative
On completion of this apprenticeship you will be able to provide facilities services support to customers and facilities management departments.
This apprenticeship is ideal for those that are new to workplace and facilities management, have a desire to work in the profession or that want a career change.

The employer occupational brief is referred to in the Assessment plan for this standard
Apprenticeships include an independent end-point assessment to assess the knowledge, skills, and behaviours across the standard. You will be assessed by online written test, observation and professional discussion of FM performance and knowledge.
Apprenticeships are a mix of on and off-the-job training. The off-the-job training must make up 20% of the apprenticeship.
Facilities Management Supervisor
On completion of this apprenticeship you will be able to fulfil a supervisory role in facilities management, leading an operational team to deliver a range of services that meet customer requirements.

This apprenticeship is ideal for those that are new to workplace and facilities management, have a desire to work in the profession or that want a career change.

Facilities manager
On completion of this apprenticeship you'll know how to manage a property’s facilities and deliver an exceptional service. You’ll complete risk assessments, manage budgets, and manage a team. You will also achieve an IWFM Level 4 Diploma as part of this apprenticeship.

- Understand finances and how to procure goods and services
A Facilities Manager apprenticeship is ideal for individuals that enjoy leading as well as analytical thinkers that can and enjoy multi-tasking. The role requires prompt decision making and forward thinking.

Senior Facilities Management Degree
Upon completing this apprenticeship you'll know how to evaluate, strategise, implement and lead the facilities management function and adapt it in the interests of business productivity.
- Attain knowledge to develop and evaluate business continuity plans
- Learn how to lead and develop a workforce to manage assets
- Understand how to develop and implement strategy and policy
A level 6 apprenticeship is the most advanced available. It is best suited to professionals working at senior / strategic level or those progressing from the level 4 apprenticeship.

The employer occupational brief is referred to in the Assessment plan for this standard
You will be assessed through a continuous on-programme assessment as well as a work-based project. You’ll also give a presentation to a professional panel, discussing your portfolio and log.
