As we look back on 2024, we reflect on the initiatives launched and sustained to benefit our members and the workplace and facilities management (WFM) sector. These include:
- Eight pieces of specialised guidance designed to address the evolving challenges in key areas faced by professionals and organisations.
- Seven new and improved courses tailored to deliver better upskilling and reskilling opportunities.
- Fifty-nine community events and webinars to provide networking, knowledge sharing and collaboration among members.
- IWFM Mentoring connected 435 members in meaningful, productive relationships to enabled career development and personal growth, offering invaluable guidance and insights between professionals.
- The introduction of the Experiential Route to Certified Membership stands out as a pivotal innovation this year, recognising the diverse backgrounds and experiences of WFM professionals, allowing them to attain certification based on practical experience rather than primarily academic routes.
- The launch of the Strategic Leaders Forum, which serves as an exclusive space for WFM leaders to collaborate, share insights and shape the future of IWFM. Through this, IWFM can remain at the forefront in an evolving sector.
- At the prestigious IWFM Impact Awards, twenty sector leaders were recognised for their exceptional contributions to the sector, which also saw the two inaugural awardees of the newly launched Deborah Rowland Scholarship.
