‘We’re excited to be a part of an initiative that harnesses the talents of this important group in our sector.

These are the words of Louisa Clarke, a driving force behind the initiative. Director of One Feather Coaching, Clarke sits on the Veterans Advisory Board chaired by Johnny Mercer MP.

Workplace and facilities management is a natural career of choice for those leaving the armed forces as many already have the required skills and competence to join and develop their careers within this critical profession.

IWFM has a rich history supporting the veteran community yet there is still work ahead to provide the awareness and support to veterans considering their next career step.

The new IWFM community specifically for members who are veterans is the latest development as we further explore ways to support the ex-services community in the profession and attract more in.
