Celebrating new talent: Rising FMs and the 2025 IWFM Impact Awards

As we look to the future, the need to nurture and support the next generation of workplace and facilities management (WFM) professionals is crucial. An initiative like the 2025 IWFM Impact Awards’ Newcomer of the Year award category recognises a professional who has demonstrated dedication and excellence at work, benefitting the sector in little time.

The winner will be a true WFM ambassador, be passionate and committed to CPD and promoting WFM as a career of choice. If you have been in the profession for up to three years, either at the start of your career or having joined from a different sector and who work for an in-house team or a service provider, and can evidence significant impact, consider taking part. Entries are free to enter and welcomed via self-nomination or by an employer, colleagues or peers.

The Awards ceremony is a fantastic opportunity to gain new contacts and develop a positive reputation. Winners can gain new career opportunities and demonstrate their organisational value. It’s likely we’ll see entrants who have benefited from platforms like IWFM's Rising FMs Network; through a combination of networking events, access to sector research and ongoing career support, Rising FMs provides an environment for individuals to thrive and progress in their careers.
