Yesterday, we were delighted to host a webinar presentation and panel discussion on the topic of optimising air quality, a workplace and facilities management (WFM) priority, in partnership with Equans.

After a short presentation on air quality from Dr. Katie Knight, Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant, North Middlesex Hospital, RCPCH Climate Change Working Group, Knight and Greg Davies, Director of Market Development, Assurity Consulting, discussed the often-destructive impact of poor air quality on human health and wellbeing.

Lewis Chenery, Head of Environment & Sustainability, Equans UK & Ireland, and Davies delved into the practical implications of air quality for WFM professionals, including how to benchmark for good air quality, what good looks like, strategies for change and much more.

Due to the strong attendance and number of queries during the Q&A, in the next quarter we’ll be releasing an article to cover some of the topics we didn’t address. For the moment click here to access the webinar on-demand.

Additionally, the IWFM Sustainability Survey 2024 will close next week at 9AM on Tuesday 10 September. As a reminder, the survey will help generate new information around decarbonisation and act as a powerful initiative in our sustainability agenda, to help drive positive WFM change.

The survey is completely anonymous, takes about 10 minutes to complete and you can sign up to automatically receive an electronic copy of the results report in Q4 2024. Click here to take the survey.
