What is grounds maintenance?
Grounds maintenance (GM) is primarily focused on outdoor vegetative features such as grass, plants, shrubs and small trees but also covers the maintenance of hard landscape features such as sweeping of pedestrian and vehicular hardstanding(s), bin emptying and litter picking. GM is a seasonal service with most core work occurring during the spring and summer months, the growing season. Hard pruning of shrubs generally occurs during autumn and winter months, the dormant season.
