Overview
With the impact of the global pandemic, this past year has been one of significant change in the facilities management and workplace arena. It has led to changes in how and where we work, socialise, and even where we learn. Buildings have not been immune to this change. Workplace and facilities management professionals are working to adapt buildings to meet new regulations and create healthier working environments. Social distancing, one-way systems, adapted office layouts and frictionless access are some of the highly visible changes to many workplaces. Additionally, there may be many other changes such as improved air quality and ventilation strategies that might not be fully visible to an occupant.
