IWFM Impact Awards 2023: winner of Best Celebratory Event

We are delighted to announce that the IWFM Impact Awards 2023 has won Best Celebratory Event at the Association Excellence Awards 2024.

The Association Excellence Awards salute, celebrate and encourage the vital work that associations, trade bodies, professional organisations and chartered institutes do for and on behalf of their members to ensure their voices are heard and their causes are championed.

The shortlist was made up of eight events all competing to be crowned as the Best Celebratory Event and the winners were announced on Friday 8 November at the QEII Centre, London. As well as announcing the IWFM Impact Awards 2023 as the winner, in silver place was The IPG Independent Publishing Awards Gala Lunch 2024 and taking bronze was the APM Project Management Awards 2023.

Judges’ comments included:

"Coupled with the IWFM’s 30th anniversary, the 2023 awards were most sustainable. It was noteworthy to see the carbon offset investment in a number of international projects designed to reduce emissions and help communities."

"A well curated event that showcased inspiring stories and encouraged carbon neutral actions. Provided both financial and societal impact."

"Fantastic that this event is carbon neutral and some great feedback from the attendees. Also, a great commercial success."
