During our collaboration with members to enhance IWFM’s membership offer (see Shaping the Institute together), we have launched a new IWFM members-only Community groups forum.

Members told us they want to be better connected with the wider IWFM community and engage in meaningful conversations.

Today, we have launched the solution: the new Community groups forum, available only to IWFM members.

What is the IWFM Community groups forum?

The forum enables members to interact with other IWFM members and volunteers via discussion groups on IWFM.org.uk. The groups, which belong to Regions and Special Interest Groups (SIGs), are intended to provide helpful, relevant content, such as promoting best practice, knowledge sharing, awareness, thought leadership, engagement, networking, and learning through tools, standards, and training.

It’s a platform for members to discuss, share, ask questions, and search for guidance to help them in their role.

How to access the Community groups forum

IWFM members can access the forum here. Log in to your IWFM account when prompted or change your password if it’s your first-time logging in). Don’t forget to check that your member contact preferences are up to date in your IWFM account. This will ensure you are added to the groups which are relevant to your location and interests.

If you aren’t an IWFM member yet, please visit our membership page or email [email protected].
