On 14 May, the global workplace and facilities management community (WFM) unites to mark World FM Day, a spotlight on the profession and the impact it makes. This year's theme, ‘Resilience in Action: thriving in a world of change', perfectly reflects the challenges and opportunities facing the community in the pursuit of positive outcomes.

IWFM is dedicated to supporting, developing and advocating for professionals at every career stage, and promoting the value and importance of WFM as a strategic function within organisations. From sustainability to digital innovation to the future of work, with IWFM, leaders can elevate the function of WFM, so it achieves its lynchpin potential.

We welcome all strategic leaders, virtually and in person, to join our Strategic Leaders Forum on Tuesday 13 May to celebrate World FM Day. The event, in London and online, will explore the massive impact of sustainability on WFM within heritage sites, addressing the implications of incorporating sustainable practices while preserving historical architecture, demonstrating resilience in practice.

Attendees will benefit from expert panels discussing how resilient practices enable heritage buildings to thrive, and case studies presenting successful sustainable WFM implementations.
