Overview

Welcome to the fifteenth IWFM Sustainability Survey Summary Report. Thank you to everybody who participated in this work. Your input is invaluable and ensures our survey remains a key evaluation of sustainability and workplace trends.

Since our last report, global progress on carbon reduction has remained frustratingly slow, despite the ‘Code Red’ warning. Summer 2022 saw the UK experience record high temperatures across large parts of the country, giving many of us first-hand experience of the reality of inaction. More positively, the UN biodiversity COP15 saw almost 200 countries agree to legally binding commitments to ‘halt and reverse’ biodiversity loss.
